SHIELD Youth

SHIELD Youth is a Youth Group in Williams Lake that meets every Tuesday night 6:30-8:30.

Doors open at 6:30pm with our Service starting at 7:00pm. Pickup time is 8:30pm

We are a local Youth Group in Williams Lake that strives to teach and encourage Students in their walk with Christ. We create a High Energy environment where students can come to Play Games, Make Friends, Worship and make memories together.

Every time we meet we aim to do 2 thing

1) Serve God

2) Have Fun

We believe it important to not only have fun, but to understand the importance of God and how He loves each and every student. Which is why we split up our calendar to include fun nights, small groups nights and worship nights

As a ministry, our goal is to see youth and leaders Seek God, discover their Identity in Christ, and Encouraging their Leadership Development.

We pursue this vision through persistent prayer, showcasing the relevancy of God and by showing students that they have a part to play as children of God who are beautifully and wonderfully made.

SHIELD Youth is an awesome community of youth in grades 7-12 where friendships are made and faith is found.

Right now, we're meeting every Tuesday night from 7-8:45 at Calvary Church - call the office or text (778)-720-6399 to get connected.

Whether it's an all-nighter, an out-of-town trip, or some craziness in town, we always have a night to remember!

WHY ARE WE SHIELD

SHIELD is not just a fun name but rather a way for Students to understand their role in this world. At SHIELD we strive to equip students with knowledge of Jesus Christ to better understand who they are and how they can make a positive difference in the world. If a student regularly attends, they will be given tools and knowledge about how to discover Who Jesus, Who they are in Him, how much He loves them, and how He wants to do great works through them.

There is a present darkness over this earth; we see it everyday in the news, media, schools and in our cities. Although the word seems dark, without hope; the one hope for mankind is Jesus. With Jesus by our side we can equip the SHIELDS of faith and bring more light into this world.
