Monte Harrop
Lead Pastor
Monte moved back to Williams Lake in March of 2025. Born and raised in Williams Lake, shortly after graduating from Summit Pacific college I moved to Quesnel BC. I ministered in Quesnel for just short of 20 years before feeling the call to return back to Williams Lake and Calvary Church. I am excited to be “home” and join in with what God is doing in the city and surrounding Cariboo/Chilcoton area. My heart is to see people find their identities in Christ and step into the calling God has placed on all our lives. When not at the church you will likely find me enjoying one of my many hobbies, fishing, woodworking, motorcycling or playing games with friends.

Brad Lindhout
Next Generations Pastor
Brad was brought on staff at end of May 2022 along with his wife Daphne. I am originally from Chilliwack BC and went to Bible College at Summit Pacific College in Abbotsford. I have spent many years volunteering in various Youth Ministries and I have a heart to see student's lives changed when they invite Jesus into it. I am a bit of a Bible-nerd, I love the scriptures and being able to communicate them to people. I enjoy good food, golfing and fishing (all though I am not very good at the last two). I believe God has a plan for the city of Williams Lake and I am excited to be able to see it unfold.

I moved to Williams Lake with my husband, Brad, in May 2022. Though originally from Ontario, I moved to BC to attend Summit Pacific College. I've been volunteering and working with various kids ministries for 11 years. In my spare time, I like to knit and bake goodies. I'm excited to see what God has in store for Williams Lake!

I have lived in Williams Lake and have attended Calvary Church for over 25 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Religious Education from Summit Pacific College. I've been married for 18 years and have one son. I enjoy reading and crocheting. I'm passionate about children's ministry and missions and call me crazy, but I enjoy accounting work.

Hello! I'm Cher Sytsma and I am a long-time resident of Williams Lake. I started attending Calvary Church with my husband almost 26 years ago, right before our first son was born. We have loved making Calvary our church and have raised our 3 boys in this church. I've been married 28 years, have 3 sons & 2 daughters in law. We all love Williams Lake and the surrounding area for camping, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and dirtbiking. Personally, I love to kayak, paddleboard, camp, listen to the birds, hang out with my adult kids and my husband. I also crochet and love to color and paint. I'm working on reading straight through the Bible cover to cover, and really enjoying the Psalms right now. I also LOVE music, and really enjoy leading worship here at Calvary Church. I've also served on the board for the past 5 years. Last year I took a sabbatical from my counselling practice (I was a therapist for 7 years), and am now very excited to be serving Calvary Church and our community as the new Office Administrator.
